John has been drumming on and off from an early age.  He has drummed in Canada and many European and Middle Eastern countries including Egypt. 

Originally from Lebanon he has now settled in Britain and for 25 years has successfully run his own construction business.  He is well known to most UK dancers and has performed with many of them.

John plays a variety of instruments including the Arabic keyboard, oud, violin and of course the tabla drum.  He is busy playing for many dancers up and down the country. 

Come and see him live at The Pink Bellydance.  The two workshops are for everyone from beginners to advanced students and cover introduction to the Arabic tabla, Arabic rhythms, accent and decoration over the basic rhythm and the art of the drum solo.  Each workshop is 2 hours and drums are provided.
