Pink Bellydancing 2008 - Gabriella

Gabriella took up Egyptian Dance after moving to Nottingham from London. Her first teacher, Jacky, was a wonderful dancer and inspiration and I just fell in love with the dance. That was 15 years ago. Gabriella actually started teaching 11 years ago in 1997 – a very eventful year! Gabriella have had great pleasure sharing this wonderful dance with many women at my weekly classes, workshops and courses in Nottingham and sometimes further afield throughout Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands. She also attend as many workshops and teacher events as she can across the country, to extend her knowledge and experience. These have been with, amongst others, Liza Wedgwood, Wendy Buonaventura, Amel Tafsout, Maria D'Silva and Anne White. And now, some of the people I have taught have become teachers themselves, in Nottingham, to help more women discover this dance. Above all, I want women to enjoy themselves with Egyptian dance, to be joyous, creative, inspired and to share this with others.
